FAGE LTA Youth Schools Year 7&8 and Year 9&10 Competition

Every year we run the Sussex LTA Youth Schools Competition for Year 7&8 and Year 9&10 from April to July. School teams who take part are placed into localised leagues where teams compete against other schools. Schools select whether their teams compete within Division 1 or Division 2, depending on ability. All schools who take part must be registered via www.LTA.org.uk/schools. Only 4 players are required per team and a fixture consists of 4 singles matches and 2 doubles matches. The winners Division 1 leagues progress through to the area knockout stages with the opportunity to progress further to regionals, and nationals. These are held September-November. The winners of Division 2 leagues receive certificates from the LTA.
